Guangming District Library is a public library at district level in Shenzhen as a landmark cultural building. With a construction area of 10000㎡, it is supposed to collect books of 500,000 volumes and subscribe more than 1000 kinds of magazines and newspapers. With the help of more than 100 computers and various electronic resources, this Library has arranged 600 seats for Readers. District Library has put selfservice system into practice for the convenience of Readers, and realized Resource Sharing with various public libraries, making it possible for Readers to borrow books and return them back throughout the city. This Library consists of Book Reading Area, Special Reading Room for Visually Impaired Person, Newspaper Reading Room,E-reading Room, Reading Room for Children,Multimedia Exhibition Room, Self-study Room forReaders and Multipurpose Lecture Hall etc.
